Today I booked tickets to watch the latest blockbuster, Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning. Being a huge release, I wanted to experience it in the best possible cinema setting. Naturally, I chose the iconic Odeon Luxe Leicester Square. I booked my ticket using the Odeon app—super easy to use—and selected one of their recliner seats for ultimate comfort. The full price was £25.10, but I had a 10% discount which brought it down to £22.60. Not bad at all for a premium cinema experience right in the heart of London!
Getting to Odeon Leicester Square: Easy Tube Access and Iconic Movie Posters
I took the Tube and got off at Leicester Square station, which is just a short walk to the Odeon. As I approached the cinema, I couldn’t miss the massive posters of Mission Impossible draped across the building—it looked incredible! The buzz of Leicester Square, the sunshine, and the sight of that iconic cinema made me feel like I’d made the right choice. This was definitely the place to watch a big blockbuster.

Inside Odeon Leicester Square: Spacious Foyer, Iconic Odeon Clock, and Mission Impossible Merch
I then went inside Odeon Leicester Square, where the foyer was bright, spacious, and airy. The first thing that caught my eye was the large iconic Odeon clock, a standout feature of this popular London cinema. There was an impressive display of Mission Impossible merchandise, adding to the buzz before the movie screening. Despite a small queue for food, drinks, and ticket collection, the atmosphere remained lively and well-organized. I enjoyed browsing the vibrant movie posters while relaxing in the ample seating area, making it a perfect start to my Mission Impossible cinema experience.

Mission Impossible-Themed Popcorn at Odeon Leicester Square 🍿🎬
I then joined the short line to queue up for popcorn at Odeon Leicester Square. I opted for a delicious mix of sweet and salty popcorn, which cost £6.99. It came in a large box, making it good value for a London cinema. The best part? The popcorn was served in a Mission Impossible-themed box, adding a nice touch to the overall experience. This small detail really added to the excitement of watching a blockbuster at one of London’s most iconic cinemas.

Entering the Iconic Odeon Leicester Square Cinema Screen
Once I got my Mission Impossible-themed popcorn, I made my way to the screen where the movie was showing. A friendly ticket attendant scanned my ticket, and I walked into the cinema. The screen was absolutely massive – one of the largest I’ve seen. There were two levels of seating, and my seat was on the lower level, giving me a great view of the action.

Comfortable Recliner Seats and the Perfect Setup for the Movie
I got to my seat and was instantly impressed. The recliner was a great size, with adjustable settings that let you lean back or move forward easily. There was also a small table you could pull towards you and a built-in cup holder for convenience. I got comfortable, placed my Mission Impossible popcorn on the table, and settled in. The whole setup made it a really enjoyable experience and the perfect way to get ready for the movie.

Immersive Start with Trailers and a Special Message from Tom Cruise
Before the film began, a few adverts and trailers were shown, setting the scene for what was to come. What made it even more exciting was a special message from the movie’s hero himself – Tom Cruise. It was a great touch that added to the cinematic experience. The sound and picture quality in Odeon Leicester Square were both top-notch, truly enhancing the overall vibe. At this point, I put my phone away—partly out of respect for the legal restrictions and mostly because I didn’t want to disturb the immersive experience for myself or others around me.

Action-Packed Thriller and a Smooth Exit Experience
The movie was absolutely amazing—full of action, suspense, and of course, those signature Mission: Impossible stunts. The film ran for around three hours, but with all the excitement, it didn’t feel long at all. Watching it in the Dolby screen at Odeon Leicester Square made a huge difference—the sound quality alone was worth every penny.
As the film ended, I noticed several staff members near the exits holding bags so people could easily dispose of their rubbish—very efficient. The toilets were located nearby too, which was a relief as there was quite a queue (clearly, three hours is a long time for most of us!).
Final Thoughts on Watching Mission: Impossible at Odeon Leicester Square
If you’re planning to watch a blockbuster like Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, then Odeon Leicester Square is hands down one of the best cinemas to experience it in. From the grand building and Dolby sound to the reclining seats and themed popcorn tubs, everything felt premium. It’s definitely worth paying a bit extra for that iconic cinema vibe in the heart of London.
Whether you’re a die-hard movie fan or just in the mood for a night out, this cinema delivers a memorable and comfortable viewing experience. I’ll definitely be back for another big release!
